Event Overview:
On the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the fall of Afghanistan – August 15, 2025 – Hoviat – Women’s Identity organized a special campaign titled “15 Women, 15 Journeys.” The campaign was launched to ensure that the voices of Afghan women, both inside and outside the country, were heard.
Campaign Objective:
The “15 Women, 15 Journeys” campaign highlighted four years of silence, patience, and pain experienced by Afghan women; it celebrated girls who, behind closed school and university doors, have kept their dreams alive, and women who have lost their jobs but still strive to contribute to the future of their country.
Participation:
Fifteen women from Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, and Germany participated in the campaign. Each shared one-minute videos depicting their challenging experiences, as well as their moments of hope, following the fall of Afghanistan.
Public Sharing and Reach:
The campaign videos were shared through Hoviat – Women’s Identity official pages on Facebook, LinkedIn, and X (formerly Twitter), receiving widespread attention and engagement from audiences.
Conclusion:
The “15 Women, 15 Journeys” campaign serves as a powerful reminder of Afghan women’s resilience against discrimination and restrictions. Through this initiative, Hoviat transformed the silenced voices of women into a collective message of resistance, identity, and hope. The campaign demonstrated that even amid pain and deprivation, women continue to stand strong and strive for a humane future.
