Rohina Kohi

Rohina Kohi is a women’s rights and human rights advocate originally from Afghanistan, currently based in Toronto, Canada. She has over ten years of experience in administrative and organizational leadership across government, non-profit, and private sectors, with a strong focus on social impact, organizational effectiveness, and community empowerment.
She began her career in Afghanistan working on gender equality and women’s development, holding leadership roles at the Ministry of Women’s Affairs and the Shams Women Needs and Help Organization (SWNHO) in Kabul. In these roles, she led initiatives in women’s empowerment, strategic planning, and leadership development, and represented Afghanistan in international forums while contributing to donor-funded projects and policy development.
After migrating in 2021 and resettling in Canada, Rohina continued her advocacy through volunteer work with organizations such as Vital Voices and the Syrian Canadian Foundation. She currently works as a Property Management Coordinator at Hazelview Properties. Rohina holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and is known for her integrity, resilience, and continued commitment to supporting women and marginalized communities.
