Together, for Justice and Women’s Empowerment
Hoviat – Women’s Identity is built on the principles of commitment, experience, and women’s solidarity, and is managed by a group of pioneering and volunteer women across the globe.
The members of this team, relying on their valuable experiences in the fields of law, justice, advocacy, and women’s empowerment, have laid a strong foundation for the organization. Collaboration within Hoviat is entirely voluntary, and individuals join this initiative to strengthen the position of women without any personal gain.
The organization is led by committed Afghan and Afghan-Canadian women. The founding board, board of directors, department heads, and two coordinators play key roles in achieving the organization’s goals and implementing projects. The coordinators primarily focus on support, counseling, and connecting the different branches of the organization.
The educational, advocacy, research, support and counseling, program and networking, and financial independence departments form the main pillars of Hoviat’s activities.
