Research

Research is one of the core pillars of Hoviat’s activities. We believe that sustainable change and social justice are not possible without a precise understanding of reality and proper documentation. In a context where the voices of Afghan women are often ignored in many national and international forums, the Research Department is responsible for collecting reliable data and authentic narratives, and presenting them scientifically and accurately. Our goal is to provide a clear picture of the situation, challenges, and needs of women, creating a solid foundation for decision-making, policymaking, and advocacy efforts.

Activities and Programs:

  • Documenting violations of women’s rights in Afghanistan and among refugee communities
  • Analyzing social, cultural, and legal trends that impact women’s status
  • Preparing and publishing research reports for national and international organizations
  • Conducting field studies and collecting quantitative and qualitative data
  • Collaborating with researchers, universities, and human rights organizations to expand research scope

Impact and Outcomes:

The Research Department provides accurate and unbiased information, enabling more effective advocacy and targeted planning. Our research results play a key role in developing strategies to support women, shaping awareness campaigns, and attracting the attention of media and policymakers. Additionally, this data serves as a reliable reference for the international community to make informed decisions regarding support for Afghan women.
