In the heart of Afghanistan, despite severe security threats and restrictions, two courageous and committed women operating under the pseudonyms “Leila” and “Sahar” serve as local coordinators for HOVIAT – Women’s Identity. They play a key role in implementing programs and maintaining direct communication with women inside the country.

With strict adherence to security protocols, they are actively involved in coordinating workshops, building networks with local women, conducting needs assessments, and supporting educational and advocacy initiatives. They represent one of the essential pillars of HOVIAT’s work inside Afghanistan.

Due to the sensitive security situation, their personal, educational, and professional details remain strictly confidential. However, their efforts are considered an important form of women-led civil resistance in Afghanistan.
