X Spaces Topic – International Women’s Day | March 8, 2026 This online X Spaces session focused on the current situation of women’s rights in Afghanistan, highlighting the concept of gender apartheid, the impact of systematic restrictions on women, and the importance of strengthening advocacy efforts. Speakers discussed the challenges faced by Afghan women, the link between gender-based violence and discriminatory structures, and the role of the international community in supporting women’s rights. The session provided a platform for dialogue, awareness-raising, and amplifying the voices of women and human rights advocates in the digital space.

Campaign Report: "Eight Stories, Eight Days to March 8th" – Amplifying Afghan Women's Voices for Justice

The advocacy campaign "Eight Stories, Eight Days to March 8th" was launched by HOVIAT Organization on March 1st, 2025. Each day, a real-life narrative of Afghan women was published in text and audio podcast format, reflecting their experiences of human rights violations, poverty, psychological distress, displacement, and hopelessness. The campaign concluded on March 8th, International Women's Day, with an X Spaces event that fostered dialogue and advocacy. Widespread engagement on social media highlighted the campaign's role in raising public awareness and building solidarity with Afghan women.

📢 Campaign “15 Women, 15 Journeys” – 4th Anniversary of the Fall of Afghanistan | August 15, 2025

Campaign: “15 Women, 15 Journeys” To mark the fourth anniversary of the fall of Afghanistan, HOVIAT – Women’s Identity launched the “15 Women, 15 Journeys” campaign, amplifying the voices of 15 Afghan women living in Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, and Germany. Through one-minute video messages, participants shared their lived experiences following the fall of Afghanistan, highlighting the impact of losing access to education, employment, and fundamental rights while demonstrating resilience, hope, and determination. The videos were published across HOVIAT’s official Facebook, LinkedIn, and X (formerly Twitter) platforms, reaching a wide audience and reinforcing the message that Afghan women continue to stand for dignity, awareness, and a better future despite ongoing challenges.
