Who We Are

HOVIAT – Women's Identity is a collective of women in exile and women within Afghanistan, each with a background of resistance, advocacy for justice, and defense of women's rights.

Our members include lawyers, social activists, professionals, and women leaders who, driven by deep concern for legal, cultural, and social issues affecting women, focus their mission on empowering women and improving their status.

HOVIAT was founded to create a platform for identifying the roots of discrimination and violence against women and developing practical solutions to address these challenges.

We believe that women should enjoy equal rights and be empowered to play an effective and decisive role in society.
